In this episode, Corrface visits Jiangmen Yinhu Paper. The digital printing machine used by Yinhu Paper is the Single Pass high-speed printing machine from ByStar, a brand under J.S.Machine. It is the first time that ByStar's globally pioneering digital water-based white ink has been applied to this machine, and the application effect has been remarkable.

In actual production, digital water-based white ink can expand the color gamut. When perfectly combined with the CMYK color system of the Single Pass high-speed digital printing machine, the equipment is configured with five color groups, with two application methods: "white ink priming + CMYK overprinting" and "white ink mixing with CMYK". This significantly improves the narrow color gamut limitation of colors such as pink, green, blue, and yellow. It not only effectively solves the long-standing color deviation problem troubling the industry, making the images more vivid and details richer, but also the white ink can cleverly cover the original texture of the corrugated board. This expands the application scope of digital printing machines, enabling them to handle more types of orders—especially applications requiring pure white backgrounds that are difficult to achieve with traditional printing technologies.

Yinhu Paper is a secondary factory that provides digital printing subcontracting services for tertiary factories. Its orders are scattered, and single-digit quantity orders are not uncommon. The subcontracting products include white cardboard, coated paper, and kraft linerboard; the flute profiles cover traditional BC flute, EB flute, and the innovative DA flute. Its product range basically covers all materials needed by tertiary factories. During peak order periods, it produces over 2,000 orders a day. In Yinhu Paper's production workshop, Corrface showcased a series of printed samples produced by ByStar's Single Pass high-speed printing machine with water-based white ink. Whether it is the digital outer cartons for home appliances (featuring full-page colors, color blocks, and small fonts) or the outer cartons for alcoholic beverages (with abundant and bright colors like light green and light yellow), the addition of white ink significantly enhances the color saturation and contrast of the printed products, making the pattern display more distinct. The printing effect of dark colors, light colors, and color transitions from dark to light is excellent, accurately reproducing the product colors.
