The 15th Dongguang International Carton Packaging Machinery Expo held in Hebei, China witnessed the stunning debut of Qiansheng Machinery's Super Dual-Plate Printing Linkage Line. In this episode, CORRFACE visits the exhibition to experience the unique appeal of this innovative equipment.

Super Dual-Plate Printing Linkage Line adopts a fully servo-driven system, powered by 35 servo motors operating simultaneously. Integrated with fixed plate-changing technology, it achieves CMYK 4-color printing using just 4 printing plate sets, with each set equipped with dual plate cylinders. The rotation mechanism enables easy switching between upper/lower plate cylinders. The switching process maintains printing accuracy without interfering with subsequent operations. This patented dual plate cylinder system is an industry-first innovation by Qiansheng Machinery. The machine can connect to a production management system (PMS), allowing rapid job changeover via QR code scanning in just 30 seconds — without manual adjustment and no paper waste.

The Super Dual-Plate Printing Linkage Line revolutionizes the upper structure of the printing press while retaining vacuum adsorption technology in the lower section. The plate-free die-cutting performs exceptionally, maintaining exquisite molding effects and uniform dimensions even at speeds up to 300 sheets/minute, with errors controlled within around 1.5mm (maximum≤3mm). The overprint accuracy error is further limited to under 0.5mm. The equipment offers customizable sizing to meet diverse production needs: the largest model (1632) handles 1.6mx3.2m cardboard, while the smallest (618) is tailored for e-commerce orders.

When CORRFACE inquired about the inspiration behind this innovative design, Qiansheng Machinery explained that three years ago, recognizing the prevalence of small-batch orders in the market and the time-consuming process of switching plates and orders, the company initiated the R&D project for this high-efficiency printing machine. It was specifically tailored for clients handling small-batch orders to boost productivity. Initially, Qiansheng considered a drawer-style plate-changing mechanism but abandoned it due to excessive space requirements. Ultimately, they adopted a dual printing plate roller system, which not only saved factory space but also significantly enhanced production efficiency.
